For those families participating in U10, U12, and U14, and are interested in a more competitive soccer environment, we are in the process of selecting coaches and forming All Star, Spring, and Turkey teams. See below for more info on each type of program.

For your U10 to U14 child, please register their interest in playing for a competitive Spring and/or Turkey team, and whether they plan to attend the Sunday October 27 evaluations between 3:30pm and 6:30pm at John Adams Middle School (JAMS) in Santa Monica, in the “Event Detail” link below.

If your child is attending, please bring water, a ball, cleats and shin guards.

What is the All Star program?

The season runs from December to May/June.

Player type – for our strongest players from U10 to U14 based on the Fall / Core / Regular season. There is one All Star team per division (6 total, including B10, G10, B12, G12, B14, G14).

Player selection process – All Star coaches are selected first (this is the opposite of EXTRA) and choose from among the players nominated as All Stars by their Fall coaches. Being nominated as an All Star does not guarantee a spot on the All Star team. There are always more All Star nominated players than spots available on the All Star teams. Players who are nominated for All Stars but don’t get chosen for the All Star team can join a Spring team or choose to play another sport. All Star players often tryout for the following year’s EXTRA team.

Practices are 2 weekdays per week in Santa Monica.

Games (much like for the EXTRA teams) include tournaments and Spring league games. Also, the All Star teams play in an All Star tournament in January against other All Star teams from other regions; after the tournament, they become like any other Spring team and continue to stay together through May/June.

Fees are about $350 for the season.
