Financial Aid draft

Santa Monica AYSO has a new application process for Financial Aid.

Even if you have received Financial Aid previously, you must apply again.

Financial aid is limited and subject to eligibility requirements to ensure that our Region’s limited financial aid goes to the families in the most financial need.

You are eligible for financial aid if you have qualified for assistance from:

  1. City of Santa Monica Community & Cultural Services (e.g. CREST)
  2. Free or reduced lunch program or
  3. Section 8 housing

Documentation of your eligibility for financial aid must be submitted with your application.

When should I submit my application for financial aid?

If your player has been selected for Spring Select, mail your financial aid application as soon as possible and no later than January 20, 2019.

Under the new application process, you must apply for financial aid and receive your financial aid decision before you pay your player registration fees, so submit your financial aid application right away.  Financial aid is limited and is awarded based on need, until funds set aside for financial aid are depleted.  Late applications may not be accepted. If all other factors are equal, priority for financial aid is given to active volunteers of Santa Monica AYSO.
